Fans of the Darksiders franchise can rejoice because a new game is coming.

Although for now we have to make do with only 50 seconds of footage. Is it clear that publisher THQ Nordic is working on a new Darksiders game.

The description accompanying a video on the PlayStation channel on YouTube states, “The Four Horsemen of Darksiders will ride again.” This remarkable detail is not found on THQ Nordic's own YouTube channel. Darksiders' official Twitter account also shared the teaser accompanied by the text, “Be prepared to ride again.”

Upon seeing the teaser, the atmosphere immediately evokes memories of the first Darksiders game. It is not yet clear whether this is a remake, remaster or an entirely new installment in the franchise, but all indications are that a new game is in development.

Although the teaser remains cryptic, it seems likely that this is Darksiders 4 in which players may be able to play with all four Horsemen. The serious tone of the teaser suggests that this is not a spin-off.

It has been quiet around the Darksiders franchise for a long time, especially after the disappointing reception of the Genesis spinoff. So it is good news for fans that the series is returning. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting new development!
