Little Hope stands as the second independent game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series.

This game has no connection to the first game Man of Medan and tells its own story. After an unusual beginning, the game starts when 4 college students and their professor find themselves stuck in a small town called Little Hope. Caught in a weird fog, you need to figure out how to escape, keep good relationships with each other, and make tough decisions to live through the night.

You control five different characters each with their own unique traits that make them feel distinct as you play.

The cool part is that replaying Little Hope has its rewards. You can pick new options that alter character behavior and send the story in fresh directions.

If scary games packed with mystery and sudden frights are your thing, Little Hope fits the bill . It's got enough spooks and tension to keep you on edge. The gameplay resembles Until Dawn and feels like watching a nail-biting movie, while the Quick Time Events (QTE) leave you gripping the controller with clammy hands. By the way, these QTEs are easy to spot, and if you stay alert, you've got plenty of time to react.

I suggest playing the game in a dark room with headphones on. The graphics look good, and with headphones, you'll feel the sound effects.

However, the game moves , and your choices can make the story feel choppy and stiff at times.

Sometimes, characters react in ways that don't make sense. They might act like nothing's wrong while you're on edge and your heart's racing. This can kill the tension you're feeling.
